We offer a wide range of occupational therapy services for clients across the lifespan:
Pediatrics:
- Interventions to enable children to participate in activities at home, in school, and other social situations. Treatment may address:
- Sensory processing disorders
- Behavioral disturbances
- Difficulties with activities of daily living, such as feeding or dressing
- Difficulty with fine motor skills, including handwriting
- Difficulty with gross motor skills
Adults:
- Hand Therapy: post-surgical rehabilitation for the upper extremity (from the shoulder to hand), treatment for repetitive strain injuries, education and training for the management of chronic conditions related to the upper extremity
- General orthopedics: activities of daily living (ADL) or instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) retraining, therapeutic exercises and activities to improve strength/endurance to enable participate in ADLs/IADLs
- Neurological Rehabilitation: post-stroke or TBI rehabilitation with an emphasis on functional mobility and improving participation and independence in ADLs/IADLs
- Return to Work: ergonomics retraining, functional capacity evaluations
